Changes for the match v racists

Eagerly awaiting this team. So what we assume is Phillips in and Waterman out. It would be a tall forward line with zero defensive pressure. Clock watching

Channel 9 just said Essendon are set to recall Phillips for the clash.

Edit - doesn’t matter what channel 9 said, when Truck outright said he was coming in haha.

Based on the VFL squad, it sounds like Phillips, BZK and Stewart in (or sub?), in which case it would probably be Reid/Ridley/Waterman out.

Waterman named in the VFL. As was Zaharakis…

I think it will be

IN - Phillips, Stewart
OUT - Waterman, Ridley, Reid

Guelfi stays in the team (after being the medical sub last week).

BZT medical sub perhaps.

It seems to me that over exaggeration is worse than under exaggeration.

Your ability to read between the lines and just understand the point someone is making is exceptional

I do like how saying x amount of players have played less than 20-30 games is not claiming we are inexperienced

What would it be stating then oh great and wise one?

Edit: who the ā– ā– ā– ā–  was making grand claims of facts etc?
It was a simple response to a simple post and no one involved in the direct conversation actually gave a ā– ā– ā– ā–  beyond that

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but what was the reason given for the teams now not named to the day before the game?
Whoever came up with that idea needs to be escorted out of afl HQ immediately. Fkn ridiculous

He is very very very very very smart. There inlies the problem.

Martin’s performances in finals has him a better player than both Hird and Voss IMO.

He’s lacking the ability to kick lots of goals and win matches over an entire home and away season in my eyes to definitively overtake Carey and Matthews.

Certainly in the last 40 years those two are the best footballers I can remember.

Gazza Snr being pretty special as well.

Would be a terrible call to drop Jones. Games like these are EXACTLY what he needs to be playing for his development. Which is what this year is all about

I don’t think he’ll get dropped. Well, hopefully not.

I’m also of the opinion that Jones leading patterns are assisting in Hooker and Stringer getting more space within the forward line to.

I would prefer Waterman to Snelling, he is more likely to kick goals.

Snelling isn’t that bad of a set shot.

And he offers more forward pressure.

Shame to see Waterman dropped this week though. Hopefully Wright puts in a good performance up forward.

There is young and inexperienced and then there’s is lack of effort.

You don’t need experience to apply pressure and tackles was a pretty soft effort against the Lions

Yeah, I like both Waterman and Snelling in the team. This is just my best guess at what they will do this week. Waterman still building fitness. Need 2 rucks. Jones will still get the experience of a big game but also needs a bit of a let up/reset and we cant go in too immobile up forward. Zaka earnt his spot.

Snelling is one of the first picked each week guys.

  • 5th in the league for total tackles
  • 3rd for tackles inside forward 50
  • one of the hardest working runners each week.

As blue collar and dependable as it gets.

Those saying waterman should be in over Snelling really have no idea about how we want to structure up and play

How many tall backs do Collingwood have?

If we’re playing Wright, Hooker and Jones in our forward line, does that force the Pies to move Moore back?

Snelling top 5 in the league in tackles

He isn’t getting dropped

Edit: beaten by crod

Why do with think Stewart will be straight in?
