They included a proper ruck into the team so that Wright doesn’t have to play full time. He’s perfectly fine as a backup.
And instead we should have rucked Bryan solo for 4 weeks?
Yet to short, too slow and doesn’t impact the game enough!
Pies tanking so they can get a good pick before a bid comes in for Daicos.
If Cox isn’t playing for the Pies, are they backing Grundy in to do all the ruck duties?
Darcy Cameron played last week.
Nick Foot is umpiring our game on Sunday. Umpires the Swans game.
I was distracted by Mollison, was Nick Foot decent?
Why do you think we’re dropping Jones? From what Truck said, it sounds like he’ll be playing.
I mentioned after the Geelong pre-season game that Snelling was one of the main guys setting up our defensive structures. He’s a loud voice and shows some pretty good leadership. My guess is that those intangible qualities are why he’s getting picked each week. (Also the tackling).
If you win the ball, you don’t need to tackle.
I mean… that’s not true, but I understand your point. I think you may have missed mine, though?
To clarify:
I think the coaches are picking him because he’s a strong leader in a young side.

“If we belt them by 10 goals we could get Buckley sacked, that’s something all our fans can get excited about”
-Truck
however if we lose, then their new president signs him on for two more years for “stability” or some sht
better outcome for mine

I understand your point, just don’t agree with it.
In saying that, we don’t have a better option to play that role at the moment, so he stays in the team.
Except against St Kilda.
Where we somehow dominated possession and tackles!
How do we not have Sunday teams on a Friday night?
Since when was this a trend to not even have squads?
Since 2020 and so far this year.
Teams are announced the night before the game.
Don’t they think of the forums?
Will someone think of the forums?

That’s not Snelling’s role though. He is in the side as a pressure forward to either lock the ball in, or create a turnover.
If you don’t have a bone fide point of difference as a player (like the stars do), you need to play a role for the team to allow the star players to be more impactful. Snelling is brilliant at what he is being asked to do and the team is better for it.
its legit mind boggling they don’t put Moore back and bring in cox who would stretch us (he’s a decent mark, if anything)
madness
Pies want to cash in with Moore with Ridley not playing there
