He played forward/ruck coz nank and soldo were deemed better ruck options than him.
Hence the trade to north… for opportunity to play ruck.
This is from his AFL bio:
A genuine ruck, Coleman-Jones found opportunities hard to come by at Punt Road and was often used primarily as a key forward to accommodate the likes of Toby Nankervis, Mabior Chol and Ivan Soldo
Draper is not fit enough to to take sole keys. Can only ruck 60% at best
We deserve nothing more. We should lobby to have it played at 10pm sunday.

He’s not good enough to be considered a genuine AFL ruck, he’s a fwd/ruck. And a competent forward at that.
When Goldy finishes up he’ll be still such with Xerri #1.
We don’t need to play 2 genuine rucks vs North IMO. Being more potent forward is preferred.

At what point do we start sending our players in for surgery, and give some of the kids a crack??
I would like to see Perkins, Reid, Voss, Menzie, McBride given a few games before the season is out. There is no point in winning now.

Always wanting to win, but agree with this. These good performing, potential senior players should now be given the rest of the season to show their worth in the ones.
