Changes v Saints

I expect St Kilda to win

The fact that we will go in slight favorites guarantees the loss. They don’t have the minerals to deal with the expectation to win when the whips are cracking. A feeble bunch

Need pace and pressure

Perhaps throw caution to the wind

Bring in both Davey boys!! What a buzz that will create

Tsatas back in to offer more pace around the ball

Hobbs in for a specific forward half defensive role (basically Guelfi like for like)

Roberts to also Debut off HBF

Move Martin into Stringers role.

I want Draper to be dropped but that’ll never happen

Laverde McKay McGrath
Redman Ridley Roberts
Duursma Merrett Jones
Gresham Caddy Martin
Davey Langford Davey

Draper Durham Caldwell

Hobbs, Tsatas, Cox, Shiel

Perkins Sub

Please note this is an evolution of an earlier team posted after Friday’s car crash

I had a few Saints mates attend their game on weekend and at half time they were disgusted to the point of heading to the bar to drown sorrows. A big 2nd half v a side that has had their surge and are now just waiting for the season to end wasn’t exactly inspiring.

They are a so similar to us, lots of talent but too many ebs and flows in form and game style. This weekend will be no different. I just hope the loss to the Crows will sit in our boys guts all week.

Bring back 2MP, drop goldie.
Perks had no influence as a sub. Pointless. Back him in or let him find form in 2s
Bring back Tstatas/Hind/Hobbs. You can’t have McGrath, Martin in the side and not play Tsatas due to his apparent poor kicking.
Caddy to be subbed early 4th, hasn’t quite got the tank to play out entire game.

No Liam Henry helps us. He’s a gun and opens us up with his run and carry.

I mean we said the same about Trac gawn and Walker

I expect Essendon to win

The fact that Eagles were without McGovern, Duggan, Yeo and Waterman too.

Bring in Archie Roberts, drop Perkins. Stringer can have a break too before he is de listed.

Practice game I know but he cut us to pieces in February.

Those ins… None of them played last week, nor did Hep obviously.

In such a pivotal game I doubt they will make numerous changes bringing in several players who didn’t play last week.

If anything, they need to settle the team down. Too much change of late. Unbalanced and out of sync.

I think you are overestimating how important a single week of football is.

It’s really a non-issue if they didn’t play last week. They’ve all played plenty of football this season. They’ll be fine.

Guelfi is an injury so that’s a forced change, and I can’t make a case at all for Perkins, Menzie or Goldstein to retain their spots. Change is needed. VFL bye not ideal but it is what it is. Better than playing blatantly out of form/not good enough players just because they played on Friday and the 2s didn’t…

Lots of change is needed but how much change they make us to be determined later in the week.

Out: Goldstein, Menzies, Guelfi, Perkins
In: 2MP (all is forgiven, come back Peter) Hobbs, Davey, Hind

In: A response

We will lose this week and lose badly.
