Changes v Weagles

I guess because we are footy supporters…that in itself is not rational, and the absolute best thing about it. Also there is a possibility that we might be changing tack; not sure what the club could do to appease you.

Rowell is doing both.

Like Callaghan does both.

Hes a jet.

Perkins would be an ideal sub as he rarely contributes for all 4 quarters.

Don’t bother mate. He thinks he’s advancing the cause by not supporting the club or many of the players. Be on board like a flash if we finally have success, and no doubt reckon he’ll have earned it by denigrating anyone who does offer support when chips are down. Just don’t engage.

Goldy’s VFL form has been pretty good from the threads on blitz. Why have him on the list if not for now?

This was week 3.

We were then naught and two. Or 0 - 2 for the newer brigade.

Jonodvp and our James## are already calling for the tank.

I understand many here did not see or better feel, the wind storm of the eighties, 80’s, but the late nineties, or 90’s was a versimilitude of that decade.

If you are here you have to believe it is around the corner,

Or just go home

He does have burst but he ain’t Callaghan.
Ideally you wouldn’t want Rowell kicking into your F50

For when Drapers injured too

While there are probably better options to have kicking inside 50, this year Rowell is currently equal 2nd for inside 50s and 1st for score involvements so he’s doing a lot right.

Don’t get me wrong.
I was championing getting Rowell over H.Reid during the preseason.
These posts wouldn’t be hard to find.
I’m a massive fan.

I just thought Handypoint chose a strange club in Hawthorn who need a Durham/Butters/Young type to advance them to the next level.

Of course, Rowell will make any team better because he’s the best at what he does.

I was Wolf gif salivating about Rowell in Jan/Feb, whilst most were circle jerking over H.Reid…

I’m sure there’s more.
Incidentally, that 5 & 7 is absolutely what it would cost now…at least.

Fair point

Goldy plays only when Draper is injured or needs a rest.

I think there is a big miscommunication between wanting to lose vs fielding a team that’s more likely to lose because it’s geared towards building a long term future.

It’s the argument we’ve had over the years, it was Mass vs Heppell and Kelly, it was Goldstein vs Bryan, Lav vs Hayes It’s sort of Shiel vs Tsatas now.

We all remember picking Zac Clarke over Draper way back when.

I don’t think anyone here wants to lose on purpose, I think plenty here aren’t scared to lose now, with a view we’ll be better for it going forward.

Picking Draper would have given us a better chance to win.

Its probably more Shiel vs Setterfield vs Tsatas.

On form, this year you are probably going S+S.

Anyone out at training today? Any hint of how they’re working the side without Bryan?

We need Tsatas to come in for Bryant. Not a like for like replacement but l prefer that change to 2MP.

Not sure Tsatas will be winning too many hitouts.
