Kysaih kicked one goal on Roberts early and looked dangerous, but McGrath basically blanketed him the rest of the match.
I much prefer McGrath locking down opposition best small forward and Roberts being released more to make better decisions, disposals. We literally have no one else who can do his role (play on opposition best small forward) as good as he can.
Playing Goldy allows Draper to spend more time developing his forward craft, gives 2MP more VFL time to find touch and might help Draper survive most of the season as (mostly) the no 1 ruck.
Iâm not convinced Goldy can cover enough ground or last a full game but this is the week to find out.
I donât think people have realised that Prior has been solid the past 2 games, and the back six is gelling together. Unless he completely reverts to the form of his first two games he wonât be dropped
Because I already had ADW in the side, and Nguyen has more flexibility in position than most of those which is important in a sub. In the VFL matches Iâve seen Nguyen has been quite impressive in patches, so might suit the sub (shorter time) role. He brings pace to the side as well.
Heâs been way better in the games Iâve seen than Davey or Laverde. Johnson is unlucky, but doesnât have the positional flexibility. Hayes and Goldstein arenât sub material.
