Unlikely Setterfield goes out even with Caldwell back IMO
With the exception for Anzac Day, he’s been one of our best contributors every game back in. And continually leading the tackle count

3 changes is all likely will happen. but possibly four. Setterfield or Hobbs managed
swans don’t have heaps of tall forwards, so Brad will pick LAV ahead of Hayes, much to blitz dissapointment. Cox is perfect Jones replacement. Menzie back in to the 22 for Gresham and Shiel comes back as sub if not him then Davey or Guelfi.
losing experience of Jones, Gresham and Ridley - Scott will elect for more experienced players to come into the side.
In: Caldwell, Cox, Shiel, Laverde
Out: Setterfield, Jones, Gresham, Ridley
b: McGrath McKay Laverde
hb: Redman Reid Roberts
c: Duursma Caldwell Cox
hf: Perkins Caddy Martin
f: Kako Langford Wright
R: Goldstein Merrett Durham
int: Tsatas, Hobbs, Prior, Menzie
sub: Shiel
Emg: Davey, Guelfi, Hayes
@speeedy - setterfield out due to his role not being required with Caldwell back, if its not him then it’s Hobbs or Tsatas out.
If Prior is suspended - Martin likely goes to defence to help out and we bring a forward in - Day-Wicks/Guelfi/Davey.
If not moving Martin, then Maybe Johnson gets a debut.
Someone mentioned he was sore, with an extended break now between matches he might pull up ok.
Guelfi will come in for Gresham 100%
Out:
Gresham
Ridley
Jones
Prior
Menzie
In:
Shiel
Caldwell
Alwyn Davey Jnr
Hayes
Zac Johnson
Tsatas sub
Lots of people calling for Hayes to come in as if they’re similar player types? Hayes is your typical KPD, while Ridley is like a medium who can play tall as a bonus. Swans have named only one tall this week for some reason. Amarty & Logan McDonald missing by the looks of it. So unless they bring back another key forward we should really go in with a smaller backline.
Out:
Gresham, Jones, Ridley
In:
Davey, Caldwell, then someone to play HBF - either Shiel, SEH, Zak Johnson.
He stays mate, unless we start losing, he stays.
If Guelfi can get a good run at it and get back to what he was producing a couple of years ago, we will be better for the swap.
I agree good logic but I just want Hayes in the team lol
he’s injured.
Breaking: injury ravaged Essendon and Sydney have agreed to reschedule this game to the hospital car park to avoid further ambulance costs.
So Adams and Mills will potentially be back against us?
Prior get done for that sling/dump tackle?
Other side of ground for me couldn’t see it clearly
Mills is nowhere near it and Adams is absolutely cooked.
This will be a proper cripple fight.
That being said, Prior was also on the receiving end of a dangerous tackle too from Larkey
It almost cancels itself out.
Can’t imagine AFL will want to suspend Larkey and they can’t suspend Prior without suspending Larkey. North legal defence worse than ours.
So you could literally have the Essendon and Sydney players dueling it out in a match of wheelchair football in the halls of St Vinnies.
Hayes a late out from the VFL today, so sounds like he is being held out for next week.
You mean the one where he didn’t pin either arm and Zurhaar, instead of using either free arm to brace his fall, allowed his head to hit the ground? Yeah nah. In the reverse tackle both Prior’s arms were pinned by Larkey.
