Changes vs Bulldogs 2025

I don’t think this game will be great for us with the Doggies current form.

I’m assuming Hayes will be an out? Laverde gets a call up?

No changes for mine.

Hoping for good news for Hayes, but even if it is I doubt he plays next week.
Fox just said possibly medial? Hopefully guessing

hopefully they dont rub out Zach

You’d appeal if they did. Mention that he was trying to hit it over Weasel’s head. Was first to touch the ball and only caught the Weasel’s schozz in the aftermath.

Media really arguing for the suspension at the point. You’d think it’s looking likely. ■■■■.

It shouldn’t be arguing for suspension. Apply the rules and guidelines. He either is or he isn’t. It won’t be due to media barracking for the outcome either way.

In Laverde

Out Hayes ( Spewing like him )

Nah clip only but he was trying to tap the ball forward total eyes on it

LAV

Nah no chance.
And you’d take it as far as possible if they tried.

He was looking at the ball. He tapped the ball with an open hand. Nothing there.

It’s just media talk about the captain of a big club.

dogs coming back from darwin.
we can beat them around the ball, and that will get us over the line.

Dogs are our kryptonite and are in form.

They’ll fist us by 80 points.

We will be the first team ever to have a positive win loss and a percentage in the 70s.

I don’t think it’s fair but on Merrett, the tribunal will probably say Zach could’ve done ‘xyz’ to avoid contacting his head. I think that bs but I can see this being another defining moment in terms of AFL making players do unnatural things to avoid concussing opponents.

I think it would be very unfair but then again, I thought Curtis couldn’t really have done anything either… Not tackle him I suppose which is silly but that’s the game now.

Again, listen to the explanation that led to Mason Cox being cleared/not sited a few weeks ago.

It ain’t the same as a tackle like Curtis at all.

Yes, I don’t trust that thiugh. Every decision these days is nuanced and different and they apply the rules differently. Again, unfair but I can see him being in trouble.

If Merret cops a week we get the laywers from Cripps

It is, but this one is clear.

He won’t be suspended based on what has been stated publically. There is no previous case that supports a suspension.
