It continues to baffle me how easily the media wankers tip into Essendon.
Our wins against WCE, Norf and Swans couldn’t have been any less impressive for mine. We played a decent quarter or two in each of them, offset by long periods of very ordinary football. We were extremely fortunate to win at least two of them. If we’d played half-decent teams we’d likely have lost them all.
This weekend is an acid test. If we win or put up a decent showing, I might be more convinced. Personally I’m expecting the Dogs to put 100+ on the board and win by 6 goals.

Lav is fine, I detest Phil Collins.
He lost my trust the day I watched my father slip in to a dust jacket his album “No Jacket Required”.
At best it’s bad advice on the care of LP records and is very irresponsible.
At worst it’s a flat out lie, and contributes massively to the lack of trust people have in the music industry a whole.

To be fair to Langford, he’s had to adjust to different forward 6 combinations every week for 3 years.
He figured no one would ever work out what Sussudio was so we wouldn’t be interested in the rest.

I’m with you. I suppose they feel the need to say nice things because we are currently on the positive side of the win ledger.
Unfortunately our club is one of the least trustworthy in terms of form. 2nd position Round 15 in 2024 and we then go on to loose every game from then on.
I think the next 4 games will give a better indication of where we are at.
