Think we will bounce against the Bulldogs.
Just a really ■■■■ night for us on Saturday, and Dogs are going just.

They were being lauded by the footy shows week before
But last week we barely got the ball forward
BDB called it “anaemic” in relation to low inside 50’s
Just a few things from the Geelong game .
Some senior leaders didn’t perform a one percenter (OP) on the stat sheet.
That’s basic football protect your team mate. And should be at the top of non negotiables
Our kicking efficiency was down and some players didn’t work hard enough by those player ratings .
In saying that my changes
Out - Stringer inj ,Guelfi ,Weed, Snelling, menzie
In - Tex , Baldwin , Voss, Phillips. Davey
Tex deserves a run. Chased and tackles his ass off on Sunday. Missed a couple but gives you everything. More class than Snelling
Baldwin just has to come in. Could take Redman’s role easily. Redman was putrid . Redman could then go forward even
Voss - He probably isn’t totally ready but the point is when he was kicking a heap it wasn’t good enough. The this g I love about him is he hits the pack hard. He always puts pressure on and tackles . We don’t have a bloke his size or player type at the moment. Give him time and a run and this kid will come good .
In the twos Jorgensen constantly cuts Voss’s leads .
Phillips. Just need the size. Bryan tried his guts out just no.presence around the ground .
Davey- we need the zip up forward. Davey or Walla would be fine
What does the R mean in those stats?
I’d love to see it, but the chance of Tex/Baldwin/Voss/Davey all coming into the side in the same game would have to be approximately 0.001% likely. Happy to eat my hat though.
In saying that, those outs are all worthy of a week off.
We definitely need some zip, Tsatas + one of Walla/Davey/Tex would be nice.
Not sure what we doing with English this week, he torches us every time. Bryan and/or Philips need to be on their absolute A game.
Dogs should account for us comfortably this week. They are better than their form suggests and we match up very poorly on their midfield and forward line.
WTF dude ?
Baldwin CANNOT do what Redman does.
What in the purple fk goes on in here after a bad loss ?
You do realize that with the exception of Phillips all the players you named played on Sunday against the Cats, and are therefore no chance to be picked to play on Friday night, right?
At first I read that as weidemann, and thought, geez he’s struggling but that’s a bit harsh.

We win only 1 out of the next 2 then it means GWS is a must win.
Once since 2014… FARK! Knew the record was bad, but that bad. Essendon are farked, seriously farked.
Dogs have lost 5 from 7. Their form is ordinary BUT, Essendon will likely (given the history) supply them with a morale boosting win.
All the while, Essendon’s flagging fortunes (expecting 3 or 4 losses on the run home) leave a sour taste on what promised to be a promising season.
Think about Baldwin taking Weideman’s spot. He can mark and is a decent kick. He has a physical presence. He has played forward as well. Swingman? A good one is very handy.
This what im affraid of.
Showed a lot of promise through out the season only to have our customary collapse in the second half of the year
What Essendon have you been watching? Our collapses have almost entirely reserved for the first half of the season. We generally string together meaningless wins in the second half of the season.
Then this year is the reverse.
Hope im wrong but i see us silidng further and further away from finals
Probably best that we miss finals based on Saturdays performance but with north and west coast to come, that’s 11 guaranteed wins.
So it’s not like we can ‘play the kids’ to get a top 5 pick.
Missing finals wouldnt be best imo.
Need to finish the season strong and play finals need to reafirm thay we are heading in the right direction
If we dont all the good work we did in the first half of the season will mean nothing
Making finals must be our absolute number 1 priority. It’s right there for the taking. Even if we lose an EF again it’s invaluable experience for the team
