Despite being strong, and showing great intercept work, Baldwin hasn’t really shown much as far as one-on-one defending goes.
Hawkins would be a big, big ask.

The last time we played GMHBA in the wet, half our team slipped over every time they tried to accelerate or turn. It was abominable.

I reckon what he needs to show, is his influence around the ground. Tap work… meh… it’s not as important as a lot think. Today’s ruckmen need to use their height and marking to influence the contest. I’d be happy with him not winning a tap, as long as he is taking outlet marks on the wing or in the f50.
