Who has he roughed up? Buddy does. Walker does. Show me an example where he has stamped some brutality.
The key is not to let Dangerfield get the ball in the middle and bomb the ball 60m to Hawkins repeatedly.
Bookmarked.
No problems.
After your post, I expect him to be selected and line up at full back on Hawkins.
We’ll find out Saturday night I guess.
I’d love that. He’d do a good job I reckon.
Like we do to that no7 from freo.
Mate.
Hawkins is the premier monster FF of the decade.
Voss, training as a fwd, has played what… 1 game? And never in defense.
If Ridley is a late out then Langford takes his spot in defense and Voss comes in for a debut. You heard it here first…
Also… Perkins on Dangerfield
Love the optimism but taking our leading goalscorer out of the forward line to plug a hole and replacing him with a debutant seems like pretty poor team selection.
… until you realise that the debutant is VOSS!
Give it another day.
I’m sure Voss can take full back, the ruck hit outs and be the forward target.
The man knows no bounds.
Voss can be anything.
ANYTHING!
I find it insulting that they are managing players against us!
Wait until you see what they do with us on Saturday night.
“IF” Ridley doesn’t get up which I think he will anyway then what is more likely from the Emergencies. Cox to come in as a direct replacement for Ridley or a trusted player (Langford) going back and bringing in Voss? Not having Montgomerie or Baldwin as emergency is centainly telling.
I think Cox coming in is more likely. He’s more proven than Voss
VOSS
sadly that’s what happens when you have minimal coverage for key spots.
it’s either that, or you pick cox who’s what 5 odd vfl games into vaguely playing as a part time defender, despite being outbodied by midgets, under the guise of “he’s tall and can fill the intercept marking role”. granted that’s blitz version of reality.
it would actually be almost better to move weedman to defence instead of langford, and still bring in voss, and have wright give a chop out in the ruck.
but hey, that 0 goals in 7 weeks plays a vital important piece magically somehow.
I’d have to say Cox tbh. He’s been played a few games at HB in the VFL plus gives us some versatility in the ruck if need be.
Weidman averages a goal a game over his career
By the laws of mathematics that means he’s due to kick 7 against Geelong to ensure he’s kicked 7 in the past 7 weeks
It takes a bit to rile old Tommy up, but when teams do, he doesn’t mind taking on 2-3 at a time. This isn’t a man you intimidate.
