Grimes was given a free for a push when he took a dive. He later denied the dive in the after match interview, but the dive was there, and the chumpire fell for it. Tippa had played on and kicked a goal. That free kick was a real momentum killer.

How sad is it. 13 and probably 14 straight years of defeat.
Richmond, Collingwood, Western Bulldogs and even Carlton always lift for us, and we capitulate every time.

I seem to remember walla getting screwed by the umps that night, I certainly remember my Mrs swearing her head off at the umps while watching that game, 1st and last time I’ve heard that.

And to think the game is called “Dreamtime” to honour the indigenous peoples.
It’s called that because that’s all we’re doing about winning one.
