I am all in for giving extended opportunities to young players even some experienced players looks elsewhere at the end of the season. Get the best out of this opportunity. No expectations from the fans.

Still too raw to take main ruck duties comes up against another beast in Witts
Nobody outside of Essendon rates Hobbs, and even very few within do.
And Perkins has been the sub the past 2 weeks, so I think that says a lot about how he is rated

Toss up whether to debut McMahon or play Tsatas as sub, went for McMahon, just to keep debut streak going and 5 goals decent return.
Did try and make an argument for Setterfield to be sub, given banged up, and let Tsatas play, but couldn’t He should be cherry ripe after break.
There still is a chance someone gets injured over the bye like - Caldwell did if so then Tsatas comes in.
Davey comes in to help Lual and Clarke on the wings without Duursma. Plus add some overall speed.

I would play Goldy against the ruckman like Witts and Nankervis who will monster Vigo. It’s going to do nothing for his confidence if he is getting smashed every week. Needs to keep developing his craft in his weight division.

I wouldn’t mind throwing Wright in the ruck next week, bigger and then May as second ruck. Allows McMahon to come in forwardline.
i dont wanna kill vigo’s confidence early. He tried his heart out but playing against Jackson is almost the toughest challenge in rucking.
Witts is a monster, let goldy come back for him. When there’s a better match up for vigo, bring him back
better yet, lock him in a gym for the next 9 months
