Bunch of players that pop up and have their best game against us are missing for the Woods this week. Daicos, McCreery, Elliot, Noble and Cox.

I think last week against Geelong was always going to be a tougher challenge for us. Essendon by 32

Draper simply hasnā€™t come on like weā€™d have hoped.

A few years ago, he dominated Tim English. Now English is a premium AA ruckman and Draper is average as fark!

Draper is undisciplined, bashes the ball forward, doesnā€™t look for a midfielder. He also offers less around the ground IMO and is useless below his knees. Send him back to the VFL to learn.

Hobbs didnā€™t play on the weekend because I think he was a bit sore.

As for dropping Wright this week, I canā€™t see it. The easiest way to get Darcy Moore back in from is having him look after Caddy, Langers or Jones.

So without looking at just stats

Look at the quality of clearances for example,

Goldy gives a clean handball to Durham who waltzes out and hits stringer on a lead

Draper tries to break a tackle then eventually handballs full power into a team mate less than a metre away, ball ricochets away is collecting by geelong and they go forward and kick a goal

There are still valid arguments for Draper but he is definitely not the better player even tho Goldy is 249 years old
