Not sure Franga will ever be any good but that defence particularly in q3 just looked confused and unsure of positioning.
Wouldn’t be making any changes back there just yet.
Some better organisation down back and some straighter kicking up fwd and that’s a comfortable win. Not a lot of defensive smarts in the middle either but wouldn’t be hitting panic stations just yet.
Prick my curiosity to see what the newspaper for Essendon and Hawthorn game ,who they gave best on ground, why is merret no ,what it heppel no, was it shiel no, to my astonishment who had limited preparation through the offseason it was Brownlow medal is Tom Mitchel
What I said is that we are trying to build a team, to do that you have to test out your players to find who can do certain things and who is willing to play to the plan
Just out of interest who are you playing as a tagger last night? I promise you that if you list any FIT player on our list i can give you reasons why Tom Mitchell would have shredded them
It will be one of those games where we talk up Dixon all week, and on the day guys like Gray, Butters, Duursma & Raz will be the ones that massacre us.
I’d only make changes in the backline max - maybe Gleeson for Redman and move Hooker back. Wouldn’t mind seeing Francis have a dip up forward. Is a lovely kick IMO.
Our forward line was not the problem last night - it was the midfield and the defence. Yeah there was some shaky kicking from Jones but he’ll be fine. At least he was getting shots.
Wouldn’t mind insisting on midfield man on man if the opposition gets two or three goals in a row to a) retard the quick clearance and b) to see who puts in the effort on defence.
Out: Dodoro.
Sorry, it’s high time.
He’s had years to address our midfield and it’s as dismal as ever.
So, so deflating watching our midgets be bossed around last night like schoolgirls… yet a-farking-gain…
