Changes Vs Priority Picks 'R' Us

Woosha to Jobe and BJ; How are you feeling?
Jobe and BJ: Good thanks
Woosha: let’s start again, how are you feeling?

I feel some “resting” and mystery “general soreness” coming into play.

In: Parish and Hooker (if fit), Begley

Gotta fill lines. Not enough injuries.

If so I’d be ropeable one week after the bye and a 8 day break. I see zero reason why you’d even think that would be a option

Especially when Green missed the earlier match this year with a hammy.

It’s not just about winning this week.

It’s about winning by PLENTY.

I think we’ll nab 7th or 8th, but there’s every chance it will be on %.

These are the games you just gotta win by 6+ goals.

Alarm bells ring when we’re expected to win a “percentage booster”.

As everyone has mentioned. Parish and Hooker in.

Be interesting with Parish in (presumably for Howlett). Probably close to our best midfield on paper, Bird for Langford opinions aside.

Zerrett, Heppell, Watson, Langford, Parish, Goddard, Zaharakis, Colyer

With cameos from Tippa, Raz, Kelly and McGrath.

Hooker straightens us up as the big clunking forward. Just need to get it up there like we did in the Port game.

Fucccck the logic says no big boy.

but the heart says

BRING BIG BOY THE ■■■■ IN

Agree with this. That is all the changes needed.

I think we will come out angry and obliterate Brisbane.
A 10 goal win raises our % to 107.

I expect we will be in the 8 at the completion of Rd.15.

  • 1 of WC or WB will lose.
  • I expect Freo (home) will beat the Saints.
  • Even if the Swans get over the Demons (which will be hard), it’s likely to be close, so we’ll have them covered on percentage.

Break Brisbane early like we did Port, and this margin could be 80-100.
I’m going in confident !

I could not agree more with this. There is no indication than we will other than the media but if we go into the game looking at percentage we will lose.
Also, I will yet again fail with upgrading seats (to front row) at the start of the season with my young son so he can see a win.

This game’s all about dealing with pain. It’s time to get ruthless.

I would be less inclined to drop Howlett this week
They worked out his role a bit better, more inside contests less time and space

Yep. Has a couple of key involvements too.

  • absolutely drilling Parker, a highlight of the night

-clean hands off the deck to set up shack goal before 3qtr time. Pitty he missed the hit up on the subsequent centre clearance but I think it was also him that kicked it to smack which lead to the tell goal.

That said parish had to come in and is probably out of Howlett or Langford

Or option c, green out, with parish playing half forward like he did in patches earlier in the year.

I would keep Langford in for the next 2-3.

Howlett is depth, good depth, but he’s not best 22. Same as mckernan

In - parish, hooker

Out - mckernan, howlett

Yeah agree with this. Apart from having slightly more of a physical presence, there is nothing else that Benny offers that Parish doesn’t.

Tag Rich and stop Zorko somehow.

I should be a coach.
