Can we end this two ruck nonsense? Would be fine if they were competent forwards, but they are not. And this idea that we will benefit from not having to run 2MP through the ruck has proven a fallacy. He has not kicked a single goal since we started playing two specialist rucks. Half the benefit of having a guy like 2MP in the side is his relief ruck work. Running him on the ball gets him into the game.
Draper should ruck one out, with relief from 2MP and even Jones and Reid. Bryan is a mile off it and Phillips battles admirably within his limitations but we need to look to the future.

If we are being encouraged to test players abilities then why not slot Francis on a wing in the afl or vfl and see what he can do.

What happened with Massimo. When we picked him up I thought he was supposed to be out for 4 weeks with a shoulder next thing he has had 21 possessions in the first half. Have I missed something. Don’t get me wrong, I’m wrapt but…bring him in.
Our fitness team is top notch.
