So many partial games today… but that’s the point, there were so many.
Clarke — easiest pick. Equal most rebounds, most inside fifties, Swans strangled.
Morcom — the other equal most rebounds. Even though she conceded the only goal, she was doing exactly the right thing: goal-side, pushing the opponent out of the play. That fish was just too slippery, though.
Bailey — possessions, few. 9 tackles and so many one percenters. Did not allow herself to be beaten.
Apologies to Toogood, the Little Disciple Adams whose nose/ankle/calf issues stopped her being our best, the brutal Bannister, Gee, and the unusually inefficient but never questionable Little Pippin. Cain was our best attacker but the six deserved frees against was brutal.

Nanscawen collected CMM points every week.
She had won the competition after five rounds.
She was undisputed BOG in half of the weeks.
The rest went to:
People who hate Little Pippin the most:
Despite what you might guess from the above (and his endless posts about her), @Chris_1993 is a Gaylor hater, providing one of the lowest allocations to her.
Votes allocated to Prespakis ranged from 33% (multiple) to 4% (@dingus).
@The_Melkman likes MORCS more than twice as much as @theDJR does.
@theDJR provided 80% of Mia Busch’s votes… yeah, I didn’t see that one coming either.
Only two people did not have Little Pippin first in their votes. One was a single-game-voter, and the other was @HurleyBurley: they voted Gaylor-Prespakis-Nanscawen.
20 players received votes, but only 18 players had that translate into CMM points.
There were 17 contributors to the CMM count. All of them provided votes to Nanscawen and Prespakis, with 15 of them supporting Gaylor.
Four people voted every game: @bombersforever (votes spread over 13 players), @Chris_1993 (15 players), @Goodthur (11 players), and @theDJR (17 players).
Some of these numbers are skewed by the you-only-sing-when-they’re-winning syndrome: 41% of total votes occurred across the first three rounds, with regulars still contributing over the uglier streak.
In fairness, I did not vote a great deal this year.
If I don’t see the game I don’t feel qualified to judge. A d the coverage of the W is appalling. Especially as an Essendon fan in Adelaide.
Screw kayo, screw the AFL.
How dare you.
I thought she had a little bit of second year blues. Started red hot, then was just ok through the middle of the year, but finished pretty well.
I am still extremely bullish about her, though. I still think she could become the best player in the AFLW.
Hater is a bit strong, DJR
The fish are strong in this side eddy.
