So we’ve got Freo on Saturday May 9th at 6:10pm and Weagles on Saturday June 13th at 2:35pm. Both are away games, presumably at whatever they call Subiaco these days. And right on cue Jetstar has released $139 fares from Melbourne to Perth … same cost for the return leg, so $278 all up (plus the usual fees and charges). That’s ridiculously cheap.
It’s a 48 hour sale starting today (Tuesday 24th Feb), finishing 26th Feb at 10am.

I grew up there and remember my parents going for a quiet drink there when I was a kid. Actually the Bega Tavern at West Armadale was another of their favourite haunts.
