Fossil fuels do a ■■■■ tonne of good for the world. I agree that we need to find scalable, clean, renewable energy sources but I find the “fossil fuels are evil” rhetoric to be the height of Hypocrisy.
I find the denial of climate change by fossil fuel companies when they knew the evidence to be the height of evil.
Also please provide the evidence that climate change won’t cause the destruction I mentioned cause that would be truely ground breaking research and I’d love to heart it. I hope you’re right.

The World Bank, long criticised for its agribusiness approach, is now getting on board on the adverse contribution of the agricultural sector to greenhouse gas emissions ( estimated at around a third of global greenhouse gas emissions):
Its recent report calls for a drastic re-orientation of the global agrifood system.
No doubt individual countries will selectively quote from it to pump up their practices and blame others.

I find it hilarious how the denialists are adamant that global warming isn’t real, while fossil fuel companies a) are adamant that it is real and b) are currently modelling how they need to harden their infrastructure against harsher climatic conditions.
