Climate Change in Australia (Part 2)

so what, Australia is a big country with loads of sun and even more land mass. if farmers who normally run sheep or cattle get better money to allocate some of their land to solar or wind , then good luck to them.
especially solar . farming is a hard industry with drought , fire and food . as long as they are put in the right locations to not be impacted then great.

Let a thousand solar farms bloom and bring our deserts to life.
We don’t have the problems of France, with so little wilderness, environmentalists are opposing solar farms encroaching on the wilderness.

Or something else that can just “turn on” when its dim & still :man_shrugging:t2:. Maybe that moon based helium

Why can’t the LNP roll-out micro nuclear reactors to individual households?

Or at least a nuclear node at the end of the street? Not enough copper?

CO2 is essential for all life on earth…. no CO2 = no plants = no animal life

Am proud to be listed 1st of people that question a subject that has been shutdown by a MSM, which is mostly driven by leftists or owned by elitists that dictate their rags agendas.

Whilst I agree it is time for the majority of our power needs to be renewables… if cost effective, I will never be a man made climate warming advocate & will continue to call out over the top claims made by the MSM on behalf of the IPCC (otherwise known as the global power grabbing dictator want-a-bees UN who themselves are heavily influenced by the super wealthy elites)

Why don’t you like bees?

Ignore the media then.

Listen to scientific consensus, and if you don’t like it, submit a paper that challenges it.

Scientists actually like to be proven wrong

Struggling to see the relevance here. Have you been drinking? Or smoking CO2 crack?

Super wealthy elites, none of whom ever had an interest in planet detroying exploitative practices. They’re the ones forcing us to now contemplate cleaner energy and lower bills. Those dastardly, oddly confused, super wealthy elites and their plaything the MSM which somehow includes both the Herald Sun and the Guardian. So angry and deliberately uninformed right now!

(Don’t get me started on the UN, representing governments many of the largest of which are right wing pro fossil fuel and increasingly so, that tool for lefty propaganda and rainbow making)

Not that it really needs the legitimacy but

3.7% vs 82-100% same time frame being generous, likely more than 5x the cost of current ‘renewables’ plan, then you’ve got the mammoth waste disposal cost and problem. What’s not to like? Smart Energy Council doing LNP’s costings for them because, let’s face it, they will never be doing them.

that was me making an example of requiring very little evidence to form an opinion but you do you :joy:

I’d like to see the size of the can

Lying as hard as he can. Will the Murdochs keep giving him rope till the next election or will even they feel the need to jerk it in the face of such bullshitt? Oooo guvna!

Kicking it down the road.

No. There is only so much uranium in the world and god is not making any more.

Sounds like fun.
Today I learned the phrase, ‘heat dome.’

Satan made uranium, if you believe in that sort of thing.
