Lucky we have mg1 to keep us up with the latest news in Climate Change in Australia,
Anecdotally, winter was colder and wetter when I was young in the 70/80’s compared to now.
Not sure where to find the stats. Hopefully someone on here knows where.
Back when I didn’t have a heater it was really cold. It was sooo hot in summer until I got an evaporative cooler which is good at filtering air and that helps my hayfever. I hope this helps.

When I was a kid we had a briquette heater in the lounge room, no other heating. Except one Christmas we got electric blankets for the beds and I used to spend a lot of time curled up with on the highest setting.
The other bonus was that my sister is four years older than me, and her best friend did sleepovers, and she used to walk around in her underwear on those hot summer nights. Exciting for a 12 year old boy.

As meaningless as posting about weather. Check the trends and you’ll see there is correlation between C02 and hurricanes.
