Climate Change in Australia (Part 2)

The only regular denier, who isn’t a drop in troll, is bomber1408 and he’s very much into yelling at ‘hysterical climate hoax believers’ and completely resistant to facts. Last seen harassing Heffsgirl in the Middle East thread. Skeptics here get lots of information from knowledgable people, mostly they don’t like it and leave.

It’s not an echo chamber, but it’s definitely not a source of happiness

I know a proponent of one such company - it was bought by GE about 15 years ago only because they wanted to shelve the technology.

Like airlines parking their slots?

I don’t understand this post.

90% of the discussions which occur in this thread- that aren’t either trolling or the next horrible news item about weather events- are about energy concerns. @Benny40 is a valuable contributor.

To be fair, I started it in the Middle East thread about woke, not @Bomber1408. I should have taken that comment to the politically correct thread.

You’re looking for the 3 monkeys I reckon

If anyone reading this has genuine questions about climate and energy matters, there’s many in here who will be happy answer in a friendly way.

We don’t all need to agree, but I’ll put in the work if the time I spend doing the research is respected.

“It’s clear that there is a very large cohort of government-employed climate scientists, both in CSIRO as well as in the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM), who are not allowed to talk about issues like climate change,” Karoly says.

“The transition to clean energy is happening worldwide and it’s unstoppable. It’s not a question of ‘if’, it’s just a matter of ‘how soon’ - and the sooner the better for all of us,” said International Energy Agency (IEA) Executive Director Fatih Birol.
