Hope not.
SMU only have two losses to two ranked teams by a combined 6 points.
Bama lost to Vanderbilt and Oklahoma who have been poor. (The W over Georgia doesn’t make up for those two showings IMO)
Setting a real bad precedent if they deny SMU a spot in the CFP.

FSB Championship game between Mercer and North Dakota has the most incompetent officials I’ve ever seen.
An incomplete pass on a 2nd and 7 becomes a 3rd and 10, despite two reviews!
That’s after a previous call earlier in the game where a pass was ruled incomplete for hitting the ground despite nowhere near the ground. A least they got that right after review.
