@Kj_11 my mum found some wog selling homemade tomato sauce on marketplace. She bought me 5 bottles. What should I make first?
Pretty boring, but I’d start by making a very plain pasta napoli, to see the quality of the sauce you have.
Agree. Amazing stuff.
Well, … of course a Chihuahua’s gonna think so …
Fair call.
Just saw this. Definitely looks like one of those Mexican tomato plants on the right.
That’s much the same thing, but cooked

Today I hosted a bbq brunch. It was great but I think I’ll stick to going out for brunch as it was too much to do in too little time.
On the bbq I made chorizo, pork sausages, bacon, chicken fillet ( for a health freak), halloumi, asparagus, mushrooms stuffed with pesto and boconcini and bread. My friend made crepes which I filled with cream cheese, capers, spring onion, lemon dill and smoked salmon.
For dessert we had more crepes, freshly baked scones and coconut biscuits.
That’s not a brunch, it’s a banquet.
Looks like a standard Reboot breakfast to me.
That is a feast.
Who would have thought pork belly cooked in the air fryer would turn out so good. My wife reckons it looks like someone has been picking at the crackle in the top right corner of the photo. I don’t know what she is talking about😆.
Steak tartare (Stephanie’s recipe plus Tabasco) and pommes frites in the making and on the plate. Sensational, if I say so myself.
I bought a whole eye fillet over a week ago. It cost a fortune, but I’ve had seven adult evening meals plus three sandwich lunches out of it and I still have 100g left.
Oh yum!
Presentation could use some work but I reckon it tasted amazing
It did taste amazing. A few cos lettuce leaves would have lifted the presentation a lot, but I didn’t have any, so …
The tartare was so, so easy to make. The frites were the hard part. I don’t have a deep fryer, so I did them in the oven and they actually turned out really well. But slicing the potato, then getting them dry, then turning them three or four times so that they got brown; it took a while.
It does. Helps a lot if you pre boil them first.
Cut to size.
Boil for about 5 mins (microwave is fine)
Dry completely
Put in the fridge for at least an hour.
Then fry or bake as normal.
Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside.
I just cut them up and dried them on a paper towel, then tossed them with oil in a plastic bag and tipped them into the pan.
How do you dry them?
