One of the all time great foods. Definitely best served cold!
Yes, inner east. In fact I believe you and I are in neighbouring suburbs.
Thanks for the tip about Orlando’s. I didn’t know there were Greek delicatessens. I’ll definitely have a look.
Now another question for you or @em2009 or anyone, really. Assume the artichokes are roasted. How do you eat them? Pull off the leaves one by one and use your teeth to separate the flesh from the skin? I’ve done that, but is it really worth the effort?
I sometimes buy the cooked and marinated hearts at Leo’s, and they’re nice, but I’ve never really understood the appeal of the outer parts.
These are already peeled for you. What you see on the pack with the ones in the pan is what you get. They kind of look like round sliced potatoes with a bit of curve in them. No troubles eating them they are super soft.
When you go to Orlando’s, make sure you get yourself some Gaganis tarama. It’s the best in the business.
Pork Belly in the air fryer tonight.
Accompanied by steamed jasmine rice and a Vietnamese salad.
Tasted superb, sorry no pics of meal plated up unfortunately
extra points for Kiwi brand cleaver?
Sure is.
$4?
FFS I think I paid $7. ROBBED!
Robbed!
Reckon it was $6 from the Asian Grocery store.
I have a good set of kitchen knives but love my cheap cleaver for some things
I made this one-pan chicken and pearl cous cous dish tonight.
The original recipe had zucchini, which I hate, so substituted that with peas. Very tasty!
@em2009 I am envious of your friendship group.
Looks awesome
Oh dude just stop.
That’s too good. I can’t buy a burger that fine.
Mate I have an air fryer. Prep and for how hot how long?
There is no more disappointing fruit than dragon fruit. Beautiful, bright, vibrant color. Bland AF taste.
I respectfully disagree. In any case I was mainly referring to the team colours.
Dying…
Beautifully cooked
