In the past I’ve just counted calories and it’s worked, but this year I’ve been slack and gone too far over the daily limit too many times. So this is just to get the downward movement started. I’ll go back to counting calories and try to be more disciplined.
Hey friends, it’s international bacon day. Get on it.
Had pancakes with bacon, maple syrup and ice cream for breakfast!
I finished my juice cleanse yesterday, so today is my first day of food since last Sunday. I’ve been dreaming all week of bacon, eggs, mushrooms and avocado for breakfast, but when this morning arrived what I really felt like was yogurt and fruit, so that’s what I had, plus a piece of toast and Vegemite.
The bacon and eggs may be on the menu tomorrow.
And I lost 3.5 kg over the 5 days, which seems to be exactly average.
You mean like every day?
Just kidding, but sometimes not by much…
I’m happy to hear you made it through to the other side. 3.5kg is great! Now to eat well enough to keep them off!
I’m not sure if Hungarian food will ever win awards for being the most photogenic, but chicken paprikash never fails to his the spot.
Stupidly simple.
Looks delicious!
That looks excellent!
Goulash is always a winner too. I made a veal goulash years ago that was just about the perfect casserole, but alas veal is now a dirty word. Even though it’s perfectly possible to raise calves humanely, and there are farmers who do it.
Perfect explains why little miss jetster wanted bacon and eggs for dinner, although having an episode of peppa pig on tv in the background was a little off putting.
Hahahaha
What recipe did you follow?
Thanks I might try it with cous cous.
I reckon I’ll probably be a pig and just eat more chicken and skip the rest
Yeah now that I’ve found a source of chlorine free chicken I’m well and truly back on the bandwagon.
I wholeheartedly endorse putting pasta in there to bulk it up if you want some carbs
Yep. I got hungry straight away.
