Thanks mate. She will make up for it when she can. I think the gap years are still a thing. She has talked about it.

Interesting - I saw a tv show once where a Parmesan importer I think ( or was it an Italian maker - can’t remember) said grana Padano was fine for grating on food, but Parmagiano Reggiano should only be eaten on its own, with wine!

You won’t be sorry. It works.

Assuming you are still on it, what do you typically eat on your 2 days? Imagine a lot of salads and clear soups?

Surprised Tezza didn’t sneak a fried egg in amongst those donuts.

Been a couple of years since I did it, but it was along the lines of a Banana in the morning, nothing but tea, coffee and a fair bit of water (on high physical days) all day , and a big serving of various Veg soups in the evening, with or without shredded poached chicken thigh fillet in it.

I’m a fair sized fella, so worked on 700 cals a day, rather than 600, but I reckon I was near that most fast days anyway.

Put a number of friends onto it since I first saw the Mosley doco, all have had success with it.

This page has all you need to know and links to great low calorie dishes that a lot of them swear by.

I have been doing the 16-8 diet 5 days a week for a few week now. I have done it before and after the first couple of days my body got used to it and pretty easy. Working Arvo shift I have my last meal between 7-8 pm and don’t have anything except water for 16 hours so have breakfast around 11 am and 12pm. Apparently you can have black coffee with no sugar and it won’t break the fast. A few of the boys at work do it as well. I have noticed I can’t eat as much now.

air fryer arrived today. Looking forward to seeing my dad’s reaction in our family video chat tonight :stuck_out_tongue:

I made a yummy dinner tonight. Pan fried Orange Roughie on parsnip mash and baby carrots. Topped with creamy garlic prawns.

But I was pretty hungry while cooking so instead of throwing out the parsnip peels I tossed them in some olive oil and salt and air fried them. Then sprinkled with garlic and onion salt. Crispy!

No pictures of any of the meals though sorry :grimacing:

Anova. Perfect steak every time. This was 52 degrees for one hour. The most important part is the sear at the end which I did this time on the BBQ.

Generally speaking leaner meats work best. Chicken breast is to die for. Lamb lion works well. Salmon and ocean trout too although it tends to fall apart when taken out of the bag but still absolutely delicious.

The sear at the end is the most important step.

That looks awesome. I’ll think about getting another stick but maybe not this year.

It was actually a bit rarer than the photo but super juicy.
