My weekend. Haha. I currently have Monday and Tuesdays off and only a very short shift on Wednesday. So vodka oysters it is :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

The Seafood Depot on Pratt Street.

Haven’t had a bad experience from there in over 12 months. Not a massive range but has always been fresh.

After living in QLD for 12 years I can never go back to ‘supermarket’ seafood.

Cause and effect.

Can any of you BBQ gurus recommend a brand/model that works well with natural gas? I don’t want to be buying bottles any more. Even a 1 or 2 burner would be OK as long as it could provide enough heat.

Am making a similar soup that @Sconzie made a few days ago.

I am baking the pumpkin as suggested (B.S.D).
Also decided to throw a small Cauliflower in the mix as I had 2 in the fridge.

Was I supposed to cut the Cauli in chunks, coz I got lazy ?

The shop I bought my BBQ from changed the burners to be suitable for town gas. Just ask.

Definitely cut it up into chunks and give it more than a dash of turmeric. The latter will do wonders for your aching joints too…allegedly.

Yep, love turmeric.
Chucked heaps in the soup.

Just a tip for others.
Always use black pepper with turmeric in order to obtain the full health benefits of the turmeric.
