I agree with the wrap idea. But supermarket chicken can be a bit dry, so don’t just take it off in chunks and put it in, because it will still be dry! Instead, chop it up fairly fine across the grain and fry it off in some butter and garlic. Add whatever flavours you like - things like lemon zest, mixed herbs, curry powder, chilli flakes or Sriracha sauce. Or all of the above! when it is nice and brown squeeze a good dose of lemon into it. The browning of the fine bits plus the bit of lemon juice in there makes it reasonably moist to put into a wrap with a simple coleslaw, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, grated cheese - whatever you like, and maybe some mayo and hummus.

Oh, and whatever you do, make sure you wake the bread wrap up like browning it quickly in a frying pan! Makes a massive difference.

Tomorrow I’m attempting red curry dumpling soup which is apparently easy. I’ll post pics if successful.

Frying stuff quite brown can resurrect lots of stuff. One time I was trimming chuck steak or similar for a curry, and we had a dog that was actually a bit reluctant to eat the raw meat - but seemed pretty keen on cooked meat (she was getting very old). Anyway a browned these bits of chewy sinewy stuff til quite brown - my son just started eating it before he realised who it was for - and it turned out that the hard fry made a fair bit of it quite pleasant to eat - so poor dog got a slimmer ration than I had intended!

How do you do your eggs? They look good!

Can’t go wrong with this one. I make it up as I go now but this is the base recipe.

Im telling you Dave the Don is/was a professional cook

Can someone post the very good chicken and sundried tomato recipe that was doing the rounds in here a while ago. It was really popular and I cooked it a couple of times and was a big hit. I can’t seem to find the recipe.

My breakfast I whipped up.

It’s this one. Chicken with Creamy Sun Dried Tomato Sauce

I think the soup version is even better!

You can make even without the pasta

Alright last one. I have been a bit under the weather last couple of days and had a steak in the fridge for this past week so thought I would cook it on the BBQ tonight. 480 gram T-bone. Couldn’t be bothered doing much else with it so just had some buttered corn and you wouldn’t believe it also a couple of fried eggs. I got up to get a drink and when I came back someone stole my seat. She was trying to get in on the action hahaha.
