I reckon beef can carry themselves on meaty goodness and smoke. Pork rely heavily on rub or sauce.
Can we have both!
Wagyu does not need anything but salt and pepper, although Japanese serve it with wasabi as a side.

That’s fairly opposite ends of the scale. Enjoy this steak with nothing or you can have it with a wasabi punch in the nostrils.
Either way it looks magnificent.
And often plus sea salt, chives and lime.

What about some rosellas tomato sauce?
To be honest never tried it with wasabi. Dont plan too either ,wagyu is perfection as is.
Japanese know a thing or two about cooking and eating wagyu so who knows. But real wasabi is not a punch in the nose or that spicy.

That looks perfectly cooked RC. What did you cook it on? And how do you apply the additives? A squeeze of lemon, a sprinkle of salt and a piece of chive maybe? Still not sure about the wasabi. Actually it’s probably not much different to hot English mustard.

I used this method mate :
Then just eat it with the lime, Salt, chives and wasabi as you please. Also I prefer using normal sesame oil.
