We have protests almost weekly here and threats made against the government daily. Some of the comments on SM are pretty disgusting. It doesn’t get reported much because we are such a small market for the media.

The WA Premier has slammed the behaviour of some anti-vaccination protestors as deranged and verging on urban terrorism.
Protestors have been targeting schools that offer on-site COVID-19 vaccinations for their students.
It’s alleged a protestor confronted a student in Perth yesterday, telling them “I might as well shoot you now”.
The Premier Mark McGowan says it has to stop.

I know we all think they are looney, yada, yada yada…
But does any of this come under the umbrella of mental health?
I’d think the lockdowns (not necessarily WA), stress of the pandemic, work / life stresses have all contributed to a rise in pure RAGE.
Not condoning the behaviour. No aussie politician (as terrible as we think they are) deserve death threats.

Armoured vehicle with a machine gun on the top??? Is there photos or video? Sounds like the kind of thing that would lead to a massive military type response not just a footnote in this story.
Run of the mill everywhere, small groups of peaceful protesters , often with a social conscience such as refugee detention, deaths in custody, that the MSM has zero interest in, occasional death threats by a nutter, which the police quietly chase up without publicity.
I think it was a fake vehicle setup, not a real armoured vehicle.
They had one here last week where a mock funeral was organised by hoteliers and they carried a casket down the streets before loading it into a hearse.
It did get rowdy at the end and police had to intervene.
Was it supposed to be a funeral for the industry, or the end of Steve?
