COVID-19 Round 12 - c'mon, it's just a little prick

I’m not sure but I’d reckon hand air dryers in a loo could spew particles around in the air.

Ruperts veritable US publication has the answer!

i think there were place in Victoria that had never had a case and were 300km from the nearest case that were locked down for weeks.

Reefton (population 59, 98km from the cbd), Cambarville (population 0, 142km) and Matlock (population 0, 168km) were all included as metro for lockdown purposes.

I think the day time one was a pub crawl after a VFL game at Victoria Park?

i thought last year the whole of Vic was shutdown for a period wasn’t it?

Remember last November where National Cabinet was supposed to have a hot spot definition?
Yeah.
That went well.

The states aren’t going to agree on anything as they all take pot shots at each other and point score where possible since May last year.
It’s been pretty normal for states to put restrictions on the exposure site locations. Even though it doesn’t mean the case is from that area. Just like assuming a case in an LGA got the virus in that LGA.

I don’t recall all the States taking potshots at each other ( leaving aside claims of gold standard on this that or the other). There were the usual tit for tats between Queensland and NSW, other than that, it was the mostly the Feds trying to white ant some States, then Gladys started acting all superior to everyone else - and whinging when other States took measures in response to NSW outbreaks - in reaction to NSW refusal to restrict movements ( except for the Northern Beaches).
As to hotspot definitions, the Feds now apply it to income assistance. More recently, States use of traffic light or high, medium and low risk criteria are more closely aligned.

Why, is @SMJ your father in law?

A Sydney covid case spent last weekend in Wellington. Pop goes the bubble?

Cambarville and Matlock look like the place to be to get away from it all.

Going into lockdown for 1 case
But Jacinda is the best

They are sitting ducks.
Complacent, winter, no masks etc…

She is actually.

That was in regards to those that said our states close borders too quickly and that Jacinda would be more reasonable about it. She is possibly going to shut over 1 case lolololol

Football players are essential workers aren’t they? Same as tennis players?

Are they even towns?

Last year when Dan thought that a localised lockdown would work, he started adding in “suburbs” that weren’t real, they were just the name of the Post Office in that postcode because you can’t have the same name Post Office in the same post code.

I can fly to Queenstown or Christchurch today and do anything I want while I’m there. Still can’t go visit the grave of my wife’s grandmother in that ■■■■■■■ moron state of yours though…. so yeah, right now she is and would do a better job than the simp your ■■■■■■■ turnip deadbeat south Australians voted for.

Or when NSW banned a necropolis from attending the cricket last summer.

Firstly the guy we voted for has no control whatsoever over the current restrictions and secondly our state hate the moron who is pulling the strings. We have had a gutful of him but as long as the State of Emergency order is in play we are stuck with him. Marshall clashes with Stevens and Spurrier regularly over border closures
