Why do the states do this ?, surely accepting help gets to the desired outcome quicker, but pollies of both flavours wonât. No one remembers that help was given, when looking back at some point in the future, only that the problem was solved, I donât get it. Accepting help isnât a sign of incompetence, itâs a sign of successful crisis management.

NSW begs other states to send their Pfizer to help vaccinate private schools
The NSW state government has today called on all other states and territories to do the right thing and hand over their excess stocks of Pfizer vaccine, to ensure that NSW has enough supplies to stop the spread of Covid within their private schools.
âItâs imperative we stop this thing before it starts affecting our rich and affluent,â explained the Premier today. âLocking down the western suburbs is one thing, but if one rich donor in the east is told they canât hang out at Bondi Junction for a week thereâs going to be hell rained on us.â
However, the state has clarified that it wonât only be private schools getting the jab, stating such a thing would be âunconscionableâ. âWeâll also be giving Pfizer to Gerry Harveyâs mates,â clarified Gladys. âWeâre not monsters after all.â

Did he honestly expect the reaction to be anything but? The whole current schemozzle can be placed firmly at the feet of the utter, utter incompetence of NSW politicians, at both a state (inaction in lockdown) and federal (inaction in achieving anything vaguely resembling an adequate vaccination plan/rollout/call it what you will) level. As harsh as it may seem, a straw poll of Victorians was hardly going to be favourable, was it?
