NSW will be giving Victoria’s daily record of 694 new cases a solid shake by the end of next week.
The growth fortunately does not continue at exactly the same rate, it does tend to slow. If NSW keeps adding LGA piecemeal this will help slow the growth.

The moment cases appear in Albury, can see a major tightening of the border. The current border permit still permits people to cross to go to community sport, religious services, etc. Can’t see that holding.

Some talk around about the experience in Israel where kids are a significant transmission vector, whereas the Doherty modelling assumption is that kids are not significant. The modelling needs an update to consider this. Hopefully Paul Kelly or someone is clued enough to ask for this, even if the pollies will try and ignore it.
