As to the number of new listings, quite a few are the same site listed for different days ( such as the Brunswick apartment complex and the school construction site)
Upfield line listing involves Coburg/ Southern Cross on different days, probably linked to Coburg exposure site.

Where doe’s it say one new, all I can see is 2 active and no new in the last 24hours, is there another site to check this other than vic health?

31 not yet linked, but no doubt most will be as the day progresses. More to the point, how many days were the cases out and about?

It is confusing.
Covidlive reported 1 active 27 August, 2 active 29 and 30 August, ABC this morning referred to another case.

We’ve got 91 cases under investigation and a plenty that have been closed out as genuine mysteries (the definition of actual community transmission - not the bastardised reference it’s given now) over the last few days…

if that’s the case, it’s likely a PCC of the original case you’d think.

yeah …well… that’s not ideal.

It’s been a long time since I’ve sat down and watched the 6pm news but many in the community still get a lot their news this way. Some get their news from Facebook (shudder).

How has the reporting of things like Sutton’s observations of improved understanding of AZ effectiveness being going down. Does it get reported at all? Is there any shift in media thinking about this?

We are hearing of Moderna supply problems. The next 4 weeks are going to be a squeeze on Pfizer/Moderna availability, now that the Polish suger hit is wearing off. If more lined up to get AZ over the next few weeks, it would help. It might also help a lot in 6 months as well.

Sadly I don’t think many people will be getting AZ at all anymore now.

It’s odd, as Traralgon was noted as a case in another regional, followed by a couple of exposure sites in the town.
I can’t find any information as to the specific town in the Ranges.

regional property?

The ABC mentioned it this morning, they said I was linked but the other wasn’t. NFD

Yep.
That where the math behind the under investigations can be skewed.
We’ve written off a good lot this week as unknown source.
42 written off this week + 19 (commutative addition) under investigation + today’s 31.

Fun fact…
In the past week, NSW have written off just 30 cases as unknown and only 88 since the outbreak began.
Amazing contact tracing.

I’ve stopped following all things covid lately, so apologies if this has been discussed before. Where are all of the infections occurring? We are under very strict lockdown, so even the cases “in the wild” should be pretty immobile, right? Are the infections coming from the workplace? Families? People breaking the rules?

lol, do they have 4,267 listed as “under investigation”!!?
