Bollocks. If you canā€™t move on with your life then donā€™t blow your moral compass on others who want to.

Not sure it is a moral compass issue Mr Suey. More like being responsible and thinking of others.

Moving on with life shouldnā€™t be at the expense of others.

Thereā€™s nothing irresponsible about somebody who is healthy and well going to a party. Not mention testing negative.

Itā€™s a junk projection. Itā€™s rubbish.

Ok, guess it just a different point of view. If my household had COVID, I would not be going anywhere until they were all clear and everyone tested negative.

The junk projection perhaps is a neglect of the potential health risks to other, but hey, if you are Ok then who gives a fark about the other guy.

Where do you draw the line though?
We have people coming to work that are positive for Covid and currently I have 4 just in my department. They are wearing masks and trying to keep their space but Iā€™m still in relatively close proximity for 4-5hrs per day.
Iā€™m feeling fine and there is absolutely no way Iā€™m going to test everyday or stop going about my business or life.
If my wife had it I would test daily but still work if negative. No way Iā€™d be going to work if positive though

I guess Ace it may be an age thing. Many of the people we mingle with are over 70 and some have health issues. We just are careful not to kill anyone.

If any of our employees have COVID in their family, they know they have as much sick leave as they need.

Are there any sort of covid protocols in Australia anymore (mandatory isolation if positive etc)? The last evidence I saw of it was in Spain with mandatory masks on public transport (7 months ago) but in South America theres no evidence it ever existed despite the brutal death toll here. Does it even get reported in the news?

Was told by the boys I could have this morning off and have some fun chasing golf balls. Then late yesterday found out we were a man down so I have to work. Felt a bit crook last night, tested this morning, covid number 3. No golf, no work, telly on in the bedroom.

Can someone set up a poll to list how many times youā€™ve had it.
Me once.:crossed_fingers:

Iā€™ll put my hand up for 3. Had all the shots as well. This time around anyway.

Symptoms from the vaccines were worse than COVID (thank you vaccines).

Had 4th shot couple of months ago. Missus got it last month. I was fine. She hadnā€™t had her 4th shot.
Others I know whoā€™ve had it recently have been on plane flights.
Elderly family member was sick in hospital and got it. Straight onto antivirals and barely a symptom.

Itā€™s wise to still mask up on flights, not just for Covid but for the flu and RSV.

Hospitals have tightened up protocols following transmission within hospitals. I imagine aged care residences would have strict protocols on containing transmission within the premises and the testing of workers.
We no longer get reporting of infections and Covid deaths by location/industry sector, including aged care.

Agreed. But Bali, Fiji. Mask off to eat or drink and bang.

Did see something recently that described the covid molecules??? as smaller than the holes in masks.

I was in Hobart Cardiology on Monday. Masks are compulsory when seeing the specialist but were discretionary while in the waiting room and at reception. If this is where I caught it I hope some of the oldies with bigger heart concerns havenā€™t.

Edit, more elderly with bigger heart concernsšŸ˜‰
