I’m on every legal drug possible. It’s not just covid but the uti and kidney infection.
I’m much better but the doctors are super cautious and don’t trust me to rest up at home.

Hmmm, I wonder why the Drs don’t trust you…
You have to take it easy and rest!
Did you try the Upcare capsules I posted about here. They do really work.
Only allowed to take what they prescribe in the hospital.
Discharged.
■■■■ you covid.
Novak Djokovic
Raf Epstein, the ABC radio Melbourne journo, seems to be struggling with Covid. He has been off the air for a few weeks.
Doctors here told me whatever strain we’re up to is more potent. More hospitalisations. Last two times I had covid, I barely knew I had it. This time it was exactly like Covid 1.
Have just spent the weekend more or less in bed with covid. Still feel crap today. It’s a nasty one this time (decidedly flu-like) - my previous case was a slightly scratchy throat and headache for 24 hours.
I’m a brand manager and i’ve got several major retailers struggling go meet minimum staffing levels because of this new wave of covid right now. Bad timing with Black Friday underway
Trump was right; as long as we don’t report cases, they don’t exist.
I hope you make a speedy recovery. It’s a ■■■■ strain this time round.
There is also something else going around that isn’t showing up as Covid or Flu.
I caught a virus on the plane coming back from Hong Kong in September. They tested for about 20 viruses and it came up as Human
MetaPneunovirus
hMPV is fairly common. Just pre-COVID nobody tested for it. But it circulating would not be a big surprise nor issue.
Same family of virus as the much more famous RSV.
It was nasty. I had breathing problems.
Oh, I should clarify. I meant not a big issue at a public health level, definitely can be an issue at individual level.
Hope you are feeling better!
There’s been RSV floating about. Just as bad as covid is currently depending on how you are exposed to it.
There’s a vaccine available, but it’s not subsidised by government so oldies are hesitant to bother. Especially if they are already taking other vaccines and injections. My old man has had 2 covid injections, 1 flu injection, 3 vitamin injections and the first of two shingles injections in the last 12 months. He’s over injections for the time being.
There’s plenty of types of Pneumonia as well which is very similar to covid and RSV and if untreated can cause problems (second hand knowledge with this recently).
As per normal…
Us young ones (anyone below 50 years old) will be fine with any of these. Even 60 year olds will be fine with it. But once you get into 70s and 80s with other problems in their system (blood disorders, etc), it can cause issues.
There’s a free pneumonia vax for the 70yo+
Yep.
Doesn’t stop you from getting it though.
Just reduces the issues.
Just like any vaccine.
In my case, it didn’t help that it went untreated for more than a week. Got tested for everything, but hesitant to go to the doctors due to circumstances and was lucky someone was around when it took full affect on him. Was hospitalised for 4 or 5 days and took another week and a bit to get back to normal.
