Yes, for streptococcal pneumonia.
And they are covered under NIP for influenza vaccination.
In more than one way I imagine. Good to hear!
Thanks Chris. It was a worry for me because of my advanced age. Breathing was a problem for a few days.
My wife has been pretty unwell since Sunday, while we were away at a school sports event for the weekend.
She had a beautiful clear red line on her COVID test yesterday. And Iâve had symptoms since yesterday afternoon.
Our son picked it up first about a week ago, but didnât test. Heâs copped a dozen bad colds this year, and tested negative to all, so didnât test this time around.
Work doesnât want me anywhere near the office, so Iâm strapping in for a liquid diet with Panadol and a couple of TV shows for the next few days.
So far, sore throat, headache, and body aches are just starting.
My daughter was going to catch up with my elderly parents today, but has cancelled for now.
West Tamar Council in Tassie, similar to Port Hedland, they approved a motion that recognises alleged DNA contamination in COVID-19 vaccines as âa potential public health issueâ.
Says something about the quality of our councilors and those that vote for them.
What does a âmotion that recognisesâ from a bunch of councillors even mean?
Remember during COVID, when some refusing to get vaccinated thought that everyone that did was being sterilised? And the âpure bloodsâ would rule the Earth afterward?
They still think that, Glu
Of course.
Eventually theyâll realise the Mudbloods are still having kids, and find some other reason why theyâre better than the rest I guess.
Retroviruses do insert DNA into cells, and mRNA vaccines do imitate a virus, in the sense that they use the same mechanism to replicate an inert piece of the original virus in the body. But unlike viruses, they only replicate a piece of the original, not a whole, active virus. And they arenât retroviruses.
But thereâs no point in explaining science or medicine to anyone who considers themselves a Pure Blood.
Meanwhile, this variant of COVID isnât a lot of fun. The sore throat only lasted 24 hours, but the coughing and body aches arenât pleasant.
Pneumonia is a byproduct/result of a disease process rather than the disease process causing thing itself (if that makes sense).
Eg COVID can lead to pneumonia, Streptococcus can lead to pneumonia.
That is, it is more accurate to say there are a few different causes of pneumonia than types.
is there a dating app for these pureblood types?
asking for a friend.
How about a pureblood blood bank?
Itâs just sad.
No. This is absolutely wrong.
I know you are trying to be helpful, and are suffering under your current infection, but that is wrong. So it must be corrected before crazies here echo it elsewhere in the anti-vax world.
The âretroâ part of retroviruses is that they reverse the coding from RNA back to DNA, which can then incorporate into the host genome. All animals and plants and bacteria and even most viruses have DNA-based genomes.
mRNA vaccines do what the âmâ prefix means: they convey the message to the cells which then translate that message into protein.
Simply, most biological processes go: DNA â RNA â protein â everything else
The only thing in nature that breaks this rule is the âreverse polymeraseâ of retroviruses that converts RNA back to DNA. Discovering this enzyme was yet another amazing discovery that transformed global healthcare. (One clear example is that people with diabetes no longer have to inject insulin derived from animals).
We had the sons of a patient do basically the same thing in refusing a blood transfusion.
Until of course the doctors told them their mum would die in the next day or 2 without it at which point their moral virtues went out the window.
Thank you for the correction. Youâre a lot more knowledgeable in this field than I am.
Iâm an IT guy, so I think of a virus as program that hacks our own cells. Would I be closer if I re-worded that sentence as:
mRNA vaccines imitate a virus in the sense that they âre-programâ our own cells to produce a piece of the virus which has been determined to be unable to do us damage, but allows our immune system to recognise the real thing. Or is the âpiece of the virusâ incorrect?
As far as retroviruses go, as I understand it, in nature, they are capable of recoding our DNA. However, they do this at a cellular level, and our bodies have many layers of protection to stop rogue DNA coding persisting, so it is very rare that they can recode sections of DNA for a whole organism, and rarer again for that to be passed down. Yet, historically speaking, it does seem to have happened several times in ancient history. Some of these changes have been potentially harmful, and some have been very beneficial.
To be a fly on the wall at their celebratory Maccas meal afterwards. Or maybe theyâre raw food types who wear gas masks 24/7 and only drink water when it rains in their mouths. Iâm sure mumâs happy they got off the horse and came down the ladder
Theyâre the âpaint the roof blue to keep out the 5Gâ, âdrink only tap water out of old copper bottlesâ and âspiritually heal horsesâ type(s).
Iâm happy for them to go to Jesus or whatever by their own deep studies, but let the vet have time with the horses. Give me a dog and horse over the bulk of humanity.
