USA manipulating their death figures to delay it reaching 100,000 and create bad headlines. 800 and 500 the last couple of days which is inconsistent with the 1300 and 1500 they were getting previously.

The scary part is that if Covid finally gets a vaccine and the world adopts these hygiene standards permanently, thus reducing other infectious diseases death rates we are going have lots more people on this earth depleting its resources. We’ll get to 10 billion a lot quicker. That’s depressing.

And on trying to get a vaccine for malaria, which works in the opposite direction.

Yep.
Dr Burkes stated that there have been abnormal Mondays as weekend testing is usually slowed down meaning there are ‘spikes’ early in the week. That’s why she uses the 3 to 7 day averages to help see the trend.

Teacher at Keilor Downs Secondary tested positive, teacher hasn’t been at school.

The Keilor Downs teacher was part of a testing blitz, testing over 17,000k teachers and education staff over the last week, the positive test was returned last Friday with the teacher having had no contact with other staff, students or the school itself.

There are still very large numbers of expats out there, and when lockdown is released many will want to head back here while COVID continues to rage in the UK, Europe and the Americas.

No, the clerical staff just let the death reports pile up in the queue until they go back to work on the monday, and process 3 days worth in one day.
