Just saw the results.
Redman in the top 10? Surely that only because he played so many games. He was absolute trash this year

Because despite are few errant handballs he did a pretty good defending especially against the avalanche of ball the forwards and mids let through

He didnât show ? So THATâS why he didnât get a gongâŚ
Jones and Redman had very poor years. McGrath wasnât top 4 at all. Stringer and Langford had good first half of the year but no one who missed out should be replacing these two anyway. McKay also definitely dropped away right towards the end but he was better than Kyle and Jake.
Really it is Zach, Nick, Sam and Jye, after that Ben McKay⌠rest were all dreadful.
That top 10 is a very sobering reflection of the list.

16 games cobber, and in that a player can get a max 40 votes per game and with jones finishing tenth on 80 points it isnât very impressive at all

Oh how nice it would be to be wondering why the bloke who finished 15th wasnât top ten because heâd had a great season?
Instead weâve got players who made the top ten simply because there were that many slots to fill in the template.
