Barhams general messaging is clear enough - get better, or get out. Where he loses me is when he says we’ve made progress.
Then enter Brad. He plays a primed young talented Wing/HF ready for all Australian off half back, full forwards on the wing and moves Redman out of position.
So the message is, do what Brad says even if it’s wrong, do it well or get out.
Not sure I like the outlook for this list going into 2025. Hopefully I’m wrong, although that top 10 doesn’t fill me with confidence.

He was a good defender
In the first half we all said what a great get he was
Made some mistakes - don’t they all - but overall he was good in his first year with us, learning to play with a new team
They beat the reigning premiers and quite a few of the final top 8
They are not rubbish
What is rubbish is the coach making the wrong team selections and putting players in positions where they can’t play to their strengths

I don’t think the Redman and Jones results are as big of an issue that people are making out. B&Fs usually about quantity over quality. Look at our other “good” players (or at least players who have polled well previously):

The interesting thing it tells me is that the coaches didn’t rate Laverde, Gresham, Kelly and Heppell’s years … good, neither did I!

I know it’s hard for Barham to make any comment but to look to the future. But read the room mate. We’re ordinary, have made no progress on field and most of the team had shocking seasons. Acknowledge it!!! And this comment is just an example of his wank comments

We had 14 players who had 20+ games this year. It’s the top 10 here, plus Cox, Lav, Kelly, Gresham. Says a lot about those 4 who missed out considering the jobbers who got in.

Maybe that’s why we’re ■■■■ and its known within the club, all the way to the board. Perhaps Dave is setting players, fans and sponsors up for this cultural shift. Seems like it’s starting to hit hard at the moment with the Laverde and Stringer situation.
