I was thinking late in the year that if the season went for a couple more games then Caldwell could actually win the b&f such was his form as most of the others gave up. The fact he almost got outvoted by Ben McKay is ■■■■■■■ insulting.
I think people underrate Martin’s season a bit. Notwithstanding that he should be playing forward of centre, he is a farking jet. And had a more consistent year than Duz and Caldwell.
He turned it over a bit as he was one of the few (only?) players willing to take the dangerous kick.
As an aside, imagine how farked our list would be if we hadn’t had plucked Duz and Martin out of basically nowhere?

Whoever said we had 5 blokes carry the team is spot on. The drop off in votes from so many seasoned/experienced players after the first 5-11 games is not in any way surprising given the results, but still so disappointing.
