It was part of a general theory about all forms of cricket, including Shield, which I could take or leave, but I love the ODI idea.

They all have touring teams.
That’s a minimum six teams you could have playing over a one month tournament. Whether that starts in October or Febrauary, don’t care.
If the touring teams schedules don’t match up then bring down Afghanistan, Holland, Ireland, friggin’ Kenya, why not?
