Pujara is a star. So freaking solid.
It’s not the pitch it’s that India is a boring side.
10 years ago we would have made 350 on day one batting on this pitch including a couple of centuries.
India has one batsman with a strike rate above 0.5.

Strange about the MCG Pitch - 2 results in the 4 shield games and would have been three except for rain - How can a shield wicket be different from the test wicket.
Seems like the test team may implode again over the ‘sand paper’ issue - Funny that ball tampering has been happening for over 30 years BUT in the Australian case only three players knew of the plan to ball tamper.
India intent on grinding the bowling down, and the runs will begin to come in the last session and tomorrow.
Maybe they’re too good and our bowling is a bit stinky?
Our bowling hasn’t been overly great but i also think the reason India has been going slow is because they got slammed for how reckless they were in chasing after wide balls and trying to go too hard. So I think they have backed off a little in order to not go out flaying the ball. Normally, on a pitch like this they would go after the bowling, just think they might be a bit gun shy.
Someone needs to find out what’s wrong with Starc, he has not been bowling well this series and he is meant to be our main strike bowler. Hazlewood does not bowl well on this ground, it is apparently his worst performed ground.
That slow Mo replay showed that Starc isn’t quite getting the seam right out of the hand.
