Cricket Part III

SA ended up losing 6/3.

Bird 7/59

Short awoke from an apparent coma to smite a mighty blow over the boundary.

4/175

Down to 95 now

Harris 122 Short 27

And six more to Short. Labuschagne bowls at a brisker pace than most leggies.

58 to win Harris 142 Short 44

Provided they don’t lose a wicket soon…

But cricket is a funny game.

very goog partnership at an excellent rate.

Current partnership: 134 Runs (191 Balls)

Last 10 Overs: 0-65 RR 6.5

WA lost their last 4 in 10 balls to lose by an innings.

Bancroft finally out and then the last 3 fell.

Drinks at 4/254 with 16 overs left

You see some sad cases at the Shield. I remember Barb from TFS used to be a regular. Don’t know if she’s still above ground but her batting order doesn’t get down to 6. More fragile than both SA and WA.

Need 3 runs an over from here. Just need cool heads

I’m calling it. This was a good call by you.

Renshaw just dropped Short at short backward square. Not easy but got both hands to it.

Short 56 Harris 150

36 to win.

Short has played some imperious straight drives.

20 to win

Swepson back on for the final push…and goes for 2 fours

2 gullies, point, deep point and cover point for Neser to Harris

Harris hits one to mid-wicket off Swepson. 174, I think.

8 to win.

and we have a bit of a hiccup

2 runs to get 3 wickets

Gotch hits a six to win it. Few nervous moments.

Do we know why SMarsh didn’t play for WA? Injured again?

S Marsh is awaiting the arrival of a baby and then is off to India with ODI team.

M Marsh had minor groin surgery which meant he missed.

Hopefully, those two facts aren’t related

Another one bites the dust, Duanne Oliver signs kolpak deal and will never play for South Africa again. This is a huge loss for them, arguably their best bowler last 2 series

■■■■■■ hell.
Is the money playing for South Africa pretty ordinary?

The whites are leaving
