S_K had sworn to never let his adult children move back into his house, but when Luke Lav and his pregnant girlfriend showed up crying on his doorstep with nowhere else to go, S_K
a. folded like a cheap suit and welcomed them in;
b. told them the gym was staying where it is and they could sleep outside on the porch.
c. pretended he couldn’t hear and didn’t open the door.

Yes. A good suit has a relatively rigid (for material) canvas as its skeleton (so to speak). The outer fabric of better suits are designed/woven so it holds its shape.
The end result being that a good suit will not fold well (a good folded jacket will not fold flat but sit partly ‘ajar’) and should be relatively crinkle resistant too.
This tangential discussion reminds me of some of the trash that gets spoken during a long day in the field when it’s 35 degrees to stop you and your teammates going completely crazy.
Yes it was. But in saying that Football Park would have to be one of the two worst sporting grounds I have ever watched sport in. Only Waverley goes close to matching it for crapness. It made complete sense why the move to the Adelaide Oval was made.
If FP had a rail line going there it would have been great. Best playing surface in the comp and the new Northern stand was a great place to watch footy from. AO has been great for football but the cricket got served up a ■■■■ sandwich. First with a drop in pitch then digging up the best cricket surface in the world because AFL players don’t like the grass and lastly being moved from their spiritual home to Glenelg for SS games
The stands at FP were so bad. They took you so far from the action and then the raised centre made it really hard to see what was happening on the other side.
Northern stand was superb and there was money being put aside to complete the whole ground. Cricket especially will regret the day they allowed the AFL to go there
The girls are doing alright against England in their only Test at Taunton. 3/265 at stumps on Day 1. Perry 84* Haynes 54* Healy 58 and Lanning 57. Just need to draw this to retain the Ashes.
