In any business restructure, it is the bloke who does the restructure who does all the sacking, and then is sacked last. A bit like musical chairs.

Hasn’t Xav been behind a lot of these ‘footballing’ appointments and contracts. At some point he should be copping a lot of this heat and responsibility for the revolving door of staff we have at the club.

If you’re contemplating sacking him, you don’t have him doing media a week earlier nor do you have him trying to get coaches to the club- why let him bring Gia to the club if he’s a horrible decision maker?

If there were issues, as rumoured in this thread, that Richardson contributed to Saad’s departure, and that departure in fact being seen as the catalyst for Brasher’s review; and if it is true that McKenna had never even met Richardson until he had decided to go…
Perhaps it is player related that he has gone, and if he was seen as toxic by the player group, that might be the reason for him to go now, while we are trying to get players to come to the club…
And maybe to stem the tide of players leaving, I wonder if Saad may even reconsider…

I’ve also not heard anywhere that Dan contributed to Saad leaving, that seemed to be more with Rutten asking him to play lockdown (which Rutten rightfully should)
