Dave going and being replaced by Welsh is exactly what I thought this Morris Board upheaval was all about. I expect 1-2 others will step down. It was never in my opinion a full board spill. So itā€™s happened 12 months earlier than planned. Ok great now letā€™s focus on winning football games.

Flavour of the month in recent weeks to jump on the bandwagon and criticise, and I get it, but apart from the undoubtedly important onfield performances (which he has very limited control over) ā€¦ ticked off most of what was needed.

I was told yesterday afternoon that this would happen. Barham has been pushed out as he is protecting Scott.

The aim for Welsh coming in is to remove Brad Scott and replace with James Kelly. This is to happen in a few weeks time.

I didnā€™t believe this at the time, however the first part of Welsh replacing Barham has come true on the timelines I was told.

Could not agree more! I look at McCrae, Fagan, Mitchell - even Kingsley, (Hinkley at times too) they are down on the bench, getting animated and excited with the players and officials. Invested in the game, riding the bumps! Brad Scott is like an air traffic controller - up in the box, pushing buttons, watching screens all the time. Admittedly his brother is similiar, but the Cats have a massive amount of on-field leadership, presence and personality. We have ziltch.

Absolutely. Especially when the club has been focussed on everything apart from football for a long time. We need someone who understands the needs of players as opposed to sponsors.
